About Me

I am a Luso-American game industry professional based in Los Angeles for the past decade, with a background in graphic and fashion design. I moved to the U.S. in 2015 to pursue advanced 3D training at Gnomon School of VFX and to collaborate with other driven creatives. Based on my experience, I confidently wear three CG hats: 3D Environment Artist, Technical Artist, and Game Designer, bringing versatility and depth to projects across games, film, and interactive media.


My work focuses on 3D Environment Tech Artistry and large-scale world design for games and film using real-time engines. I specialize in planning, modeling, texturing, and building immersive, optimized worlds with tools such as Maya, ZBrush, Gaea, Unreal Engine, Houdini, Substance Painter, Designer, and others. I also have hands-on experience with Level Design, System Design, Python Coding, Photogrammetry, and full 3D and 2D asset integration for both interactive and cinematic projects.


Beyond pure front-end visual development, my core interests include 3D math, shader systems, GPU optimization, real-time profiling to improve engine performance, and most advanced real-time technologies for entertainment production. I enjoy finding solutions while building tools and refining workflows that elevate pipeline quality for individuals and teams alike. Needless to say, I am passionate about bridging visual storytelling with technical excellence, but most importantly, I am a lifelong student of Tolkien’s writings!
